Unwashed & Somewhat Slightly Dazed

This is dedicated to my Grandmother Ramirez who just passed away today.

Thank you for being there to take care of me when my mother “went off the rails”.  You had a HUGE heart and were kind beyond measure.  I’ll remember the simple pleasures of eating so many of your homemade tortillas; until my belly burst.  Dressing up in your gowns & high heels - putting on your jewelry & dabbing your Maja perfume behind my ears.  And, mostly, the sound of your laughter while i danced to Elvis Presley.
